As Bigg Boss 19 approaches its grand finale, viewers were left in disbelief during the latest weekend episode, which featured an unexpected double eviction. Shortly following Ashnoor Kaur's departure, Shehbaz Badesha was revealed as the next contestant to exit the show. This announcement was made by actor Riteish Deshmukh, who joined Salman Khan to promote the Marathi version of the reality series.
The evictions were determined by public voting, and Shehbaz received the fewest votes this week. Prior to the result announcement, Salman and Riteish encouraged the remaining housemates to make their predictions about who would be eliminated. Farrhana Bhatt and Tanya Mittal guessed Shehbaz, while Gaurav Khanna and Amaal Mallik leaned towards Malti Chahar. Ultimately, Riteish announced Shehbaz's exit, leaving many contestants visibly emotional—especially Amaal.
In an effort to boost Shehbaz's spirits, Salman praised him for establishing his own identity beyond just being Shehnaaz Gill's brother. Reflecting on his Bigg Boss journey, Shehbaz described it as a long-awaited dream while also apologizing for having previously accused the show of favoritism.
Having entered the show as the first wildcard contestant, Shehbaz had previously experienced disappointment when he lost a public vote during the grand premiere to Mridul Tiwari.
News of his eviction, just days before the finale, ignited strong reactions online. Fans shared their sorrow, and his sister Shehnaaz Gill penned a heartfelt Instagram tribute, declaring him a winner in her eyes. Viewers celebrated his enthusiastic personality, comedic skills, and the meaningful bonds he developed during his time in the house.
Ashnoor Kaur's eviction preceded Shehbaz's, following Salman's accusation that she had struck Tanya Mittal intentionally during a task. With this being the final Weekend Ka Vaar of the current season, the show anticipates its finale, set for December 7. The episode will be available for streaming on JioHotstar at 9 pm and airs on Colors at 10:30 pm.
The top six contestants remaining are Gaurav Khanna, Amaal Mallik, Tanya Mittal, Malti Chahar, Farrhana Bhatt, and Pranit More.
