These dignitaries were introduced to Sharjah’s most advanced integrated digital solutions, showcasing the emirate’s commitment to using technology to protect citizens, promote well-being, and strengthen the connection between people and their environment.
Visual Intelligence: Remote Business Formation
At the pavilion, the Hamriyah Free Zone Authority unveiled its Remote Company Formation (Visual Intelligence) initiative, part of Sharjah’s broader Smart Cities ecosystem. This project allows investors to establish companies remotely through the Vision Large Language Model (Vision LLM), which verifies identities and documents via live video calls. AI-driven verification is supplemented by an executive officer who confirms results and performs additional checks if necessary. This solution significantly streamlines business registration, enhances accessibility for global investors, and supports entrepreneurial growth through digital innovation.
Bo’d: Smart Building Management
The Sharjah Department of Public Works introduced ‘Bo’d,’ an integrated platform designed to monitor and manage government buildings across the emirate. Bo’d tracks energy consumption, carbon footprint, and operational performance in real time, while generating predictive alerts and automated reports. By proactively identifying issues before they arise, the platform ensures safety, comfort, and operational efficiency, reinforcing Sharjah’s commitment to sustainable and intelligent urban infrastructure.
Ambassadors for Digital Well-Being
Under the ‘Our Humanity’ ecosystem, the Sharjah Social Services Department launched the ‘Safe Digital Life Ambassadors’ project, training children to become peer educators promoting digital safety and online awareness. Generative AI tools enhance the experience by simplifying learning materials, suggesting creative content ideas, and generating engaging workshop activities. The initiative also includes a family-oriented GenAI companion, providing easy-to-understand guidance on responsible technology use for children and parents alike.
Muwasat: A Compassionate Digital Service
The pavilion also highlighted ‘Muwasat,’ a unified digital platform that streamlines procedures related to bereavement, developed with 13 strategic and operational partners. By coordinating services across entities, Muwasat reduces the burden on grieving families, combining efficiency with empathy to ensure a dignified and supportive experience. This initiative reflects the UAE’s broader vision of human-centred government services that prioritize societal compassion.
Sharjah Digital Hackathon
The Sharjah Digital Hackathon, held in collaboration with the Rubu’ Qarn Centre for Science and Technology and the Sharjah Youth Council, concluded during GITEX 2025 with an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding Emirati talent. Participants showcased AI-driven solutions addressing real-world challenges, emphasizing Sharjah’s ongoing investment in nurturing human potential as a cornerstone of sustainable innovation.
The Government of Sharjah pavilion at GITEX 2025 demonstrates how integrated digital governance, innovation, and collaboration can create a connected, human-centred society. By transforming data into actionable insights and deploying technology for the public good, Sharjah continues to set global benchmarks in smart city development and digital excellence, building a future-ready city that serves its people and strengthens community well-being.
