Saudi, US Foreign Ministers Meet to Discuss Ties and Regional Issues

Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, met with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Wednesday at the U.S. State Department in Washington, D.C.

The two leaders talked about the strong friendship between Saudi Arabia and the United States. They looked for new ways to make their ties even better in many areas like trade, safety, and working together on world matters.

They also spoke about important events happening around the world. They shared thoughts on what is going on in Gaza, Sudan, and Yemen, and also talked about the war between Russia and Ukraine. Both sides agreed that they must work together to help bring peace and solve problems in these places.

They said it is important to keep talking, sharing ideas, and helping each other to make the world a safer and more peaceful place.

Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to the U.S., Princess Reema bint Bandar, joined the meeting along with other important officials.

This meeting showed how both countries want to keep their good friendship strong and help solve big problems around the world.
