A high-level delegation of 50 senior financial officials from 20 Arab countries visited the headquarters of Sanadak, the UAE’s Ombudsman Unit, in Abu Dhabi. The visit offered a close look at the region’s first independent entity dedicated to financial consumer protection, marking a significant moment in strengthening regional collaboration.
Held as part of the MENA Leaders’ Summit on Financial Inclusion 2025, the visit aligned with the Central Bank of the UAE’s efforts to position the country as a regional benchmark in transparency, fairness, and consumer rights within the financial sector.
During the tour, the delegation reviewed Sanadak’s mandate and its advanced operational model, which follows international standards for dispute resolution. Officials were briefed on how the Unit develops its processes, empowers financial consumers, and contributes to a more inclusive and resilient financial ecosystem.
Presentations highlighted Sanadak’s digital platforms designed to accelerate complaint handling and improve customer satisfaction. Delegates observed how data-driven approaches, strong governance practices, and streamlined digital services help build trust and strengthen public confidence in financial systems across the Arab region.
The visit concluded with an overview of Sanadak’s integrated operating systems, showcasing tools that simplify procedures and enhance service quality for consumers. Delegates praised the UAE’s commitment to creating a transparent and reliable environment for resolving financial disputes, noting the relevance of Sanadak’s model for Arab countries aiming to advance financial inclusion and protection mechanisms.
