Realme is gearing up to unveil its most ambitious smartphone yet, the Realme GT 8 Pro, today. The launch event kicks off at 12:00 PM IST and promises a mix of cutting-edge performance and bold design updates.
The GT 8 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, making it one of the most powerful Realme phones to date. Users can expect LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, ensuring smooth multitasking and rapid app loading. The device sports a 6.79-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 7000 nits, making it ideal for media and gaming enthusiasts.
One of the most talked-about design highlights is its interchangeable camera island, offering a fresh visual twist. Photography features include a triple rear camera setup: a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens with a 116° field of view, and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. For selfies, it carries a 32MP front camera.
Battery life is set to impress with a 7000mAh battery paired with 120W wired fast charging, making it possible to go from zero to full in minimal time. Rumors indicate the starting price in India will be around ₹59,999, with availability through Flipkart and Realme retail partners.
For those eager to catch the launch, the event can be streamed live on Realme’s official website or their YouTube channel.
The Realme GT 8 Pro appears poised to compete aggressively in the premium smartphone segment, combining flagship performance with unique design elements and top-tier camera hardware.
