Poco is gearing up to introduce its much-anticipated F8 series this month, with the official global launch scheduled for 26 November in Bali, Indonesia. The brand has kept many details under wraps, but leaks and industry speculation suggest that the lineup will include the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra, likely global variants of Xiaomi’s recently released Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max in China.
Design and Performance
Reports indicate that both F8 models will retain the design and core specifications of their Chinese counterparts, with minor tweaks such as battery adjustments. The Poco F8 Pro is expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, while the F8 Ultra may feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, promising flagship-level performance for gaming and multitasking.
Display and Audio
The F8 Ultra is rumored to come with a 6.9-inch OLED display, while the standard F8 could feature a 6.59-inch OLED panel. Both screens are expected to support 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, keeping up with current high-end Android standards. Audio is set to get a boost, with the Ultra model reportedly featuring an extra rear speaker in addition to the top and bottom units, enhancing the multimedia experience.
Camera Setup
Camera upgrades are a major highlight for the F8 Ultra. It may sport a triple-camera system on the back, with 50-megapixel primary, ultra-wide, and periscope telephoto lenses. The front-facing camera could be a 20-megapixel unit, catering to selfie enthusiasts and video calls.
Charging and Connectivity
Both models are expected to support 100W wired fast charging, with the F8 Ultra potentially offering 50W wireless charging. These improvements aim to reduce downtime and provide a smoother user experience for power users.
India Launch and Pricing
While Poco has confirmed the global launch, the India release date remains unclear. Industry patterns suggest a debut a few weeks after the international rollout, possibly in early 2026. Pricing details have not been disclosed, but the F8 series is expected to compete with premium Android flagships such as the OnePlus 15, Oppo Find X9 series, and Vivo X300 lineup.
