MPDA Cracks Down on Company Illegally Dumping Waste in Undesignated Areas, Imposes AED 20,000 Fine

The Municipality and Planning Department of Ajman (MPDA) has taken decisive action against a company found to be in violation of waste dumping regulations. Inspectors from the Municipal Control and Inspection Department issued a hefty fine of 20,000 dirhams and seized the offending vehicle. The company had been caught illegally dumping public waste and building materials in non-designated areas within the Emirate.

This fine serves as a stern deterrent to any entity considering similar violations, reinforcing the MPDA's commitment to maintaining Ajman as a healthy, clean, and safe city. The MPDA emphasized its ongoing efforts to monitor and address any practices that mar the Emirate's aesthetic appeal.

Ajman has distinguished itself as a model of modern sustainability, focusing on launching development projects and ensuring continuous progress and prosperity. The MPDA's actions are part of a broader strategy to curb the spread of negative phenomena that could tarnish the city's image.

The RASID Department's field teams work tirelessly, around the clock, to uphold the Emirate's aesthetic standards. They are vigilant in monitoring negative practices, professionally handling all cases, and conducting continuous inspections. These efforts are aligned with the strategic goal of completing operations promptly while adhering to environmental, health, and safety requirements.

The MPDA has called upon the community to support these initiatives by reporting any violations. Residents can contact the hotline at 80070 or use the MPDA Smart App to report cases of illegal dumping or other infractions.

By maintaining rigorous standards and encouraging community cooperation, the MPDA aims to ensure that Ajman remains an exemplary model of a sustainable and forward-looking Emirate.
