Medeem Numou Abu Dhabi Empowers Women & Youth

The Department of Community Development (DCD) in Abu Dhabi is working together with Majalis Abu Dhabi to help people learn more about two important programs: Medeem and Numou.

These awareness sessions are being held in different community centers (Majalis) around Abu Dhabi. The goal is to teach families, young people, and women about their rights and support them in building a better future.

Medeem is a program that aims to give women in the UAE more power to manage money and property. It supports fair rights for both men and women in marriage and family life.

Numou, on the other hand, is focused on helping young people grow by giving them the skills and tools they need for success in life, such as confidence, planning, and making smart decisions.These sessions are a way for the government to stay close to the people and make sure everyone knows about the help available to them. The Majalis provide a friendly and respectful space for open talks and learning.

DCD says that these programs are part of Abu Dhabi’s big plan to support strong, happy families and help people grow in all areas of life—social, mental, and economic.

This effort shows that Abu Dhabi is serious about giving everyone, especially women and youth, more chances to shine and lead.
