Manika Vishwakarma from Rajasthan is currently representing India at the 74th Miss Universe pageant, winning hearts not just with her impeccable fashion and graceful presence but also with her remarkable intelligence. As she continues to shine on the global stage, Manika is gaining praise across social media for her thoughtful and inspiring answers.
Recently, a video of Manika answering a profound question during one of the Miss Universe events went viral. The interviewer asked her, “Would you say that competing in Miss Universe is every girl’s dream but only one woman’s journey?”
Manika’s response impressed many. While she initially acknowledged that Miss Universe is a journey for a single woman, she quickly expanded on the idea with a deeper perspective. She explained, “I wouldn’t say so… I stand here because my mother got educated; she gave me an education. I stand here because all the girls on the day of the auditions came up to me and said I should participate. All of my friends were there, so I carry those women with me.”
She further emphasized that her journey represents much more than herself. “It’s not just one woman’s journey or one woman’s dream. It’s actually a billion dreams that you carry with yourself,” Manika said, adding that she also carries her community and nation on this path.
Highlighting the collective strength of women around the world, Manika remarked, “It’s the story of every single country. We have so many wonderful women and so many little girls looking up to us, observing our journey, and probably walking this path because we dare to.”
Her answer left the interviewer speechless, who simply said, “Wow.”
The internet quickly reacted to Manika’s inspiring words. Fans flooded the comments with admiration. One user wrote, “Don’t ask her any questions… She will eat you up with her answers.” Another praised her legacy, saying, “Mind-blowing answer, that’s the legacy of the INDIAN representatives of MU she is carrying with her.” Yet another declared, “She literally proves the line, ‘Never let an Indian speak at the finale,’ she definitely owns the crown.”
Manika Vishwakarma’s blend of elegance, intelligence, and deep-rooted pride in her culture continues to make her a strong contender at Miss Universe 2025 and a shining example of India’s spirit on the global stage.
