Rajasthan’s Manika Vishwakarma, representing India at the 74th Miss Universe pageant in Thailand, has been making waves with her confident appearances. Crowned Miss Universe India 2025 in August, she continues to impress with her style and poise on the international stage.
Recently, at the Miss Universe Gala Dinner held at Kora Beach Resort in Phuket, Manika opted for a see-through, crystal-studded gown that caught everyone’s attention. Interestingly, this dazzling outfit was a last-minute choice, as revealed in a video shared on Instagram by pageant expert Adam Genato.
Genato captioned the video, “Did you know India’s gown was a last-minute choice? The see-through dress on her was a refreshing decision.” Fans quickly flooded the comments with praise for Manika’s elegance and adaptability.
One user wrote, “She’s so wise to assess the situation and make a quick change. After all, she’s Miss India!” Another commented, “Last-minute change, but such an elegant one.”
Some fans pointed out that Manika had earlier been spotted in a gold-and-black gown before switching to the crystal ensemble. “The pressure was handled so gracefully. She’s commendable for adapting and performing flawlessly,” one admirer noted.
The gown, adorned with multicoloured crystals and sequins in pink, blue, green, orange, and purple hues, featured a plunging neckline, nude panels, and a floor-length silhouette. She paired it with delicate jewellery, a sleek top knot, smoky eyes, and caramel-toned lips — completing the look with confidence and glamour.
Meanwhile, the Miss Universe 2025 pageant has also drawn attention for a recent controversy involving Miss Mexico, Fátima Bosch, and Miss Grand International president Nawat Itsaragrisil during an event in Thailand.
Despite the surrounding buzz, Manika Vishwakarma continues to shine as India’s standout representative, balancing grace under pressure and a strong sense of style.
