Lava is gearing up to expand its smartphone lineup in India with the upcoming launch of the Agni 4. Expected to be priced under ₹30,000, the device aims to bring premium design and performance to mid-range buyers. Ahead of the launch, Lava has initiated a unique Demo@Home campaign. Between November 20 and 24, selected users in Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai will get a chance to explore the device firsthand, guided by Lava engineers at their homes.
The Agni 4 showcases a sleek aluminium alloy frame paired with a matte AG glass back, slim 1.7 mm bezels, and is available in Phantom Black and Lunar Mist White. Its design promises improved durability and comfortable handling.
Under the hood, the device runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 5G processor (4nm, up to 3.35GHz) and achieves over 1.4 million on AnTuTu (V10). It comes equipped with 8GB RAM, expandable to 16GB, 256GB storage with UFS 4.0, a 4300 mm² vapor-chamber cooling system, and a dedicated Game Booster mode for smooth performance.
The Agni 4 features a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 2400 nits, 10-bit color depth, 446 PPI, and support for 1.07 billion colors. This ensures clear visuals even under bright outdoor light.
Photography enthusiasts can expect a 50MP primary rear camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP front camera. Both front and rear setups support 4K video recording at 60fps. AI-powered scene detection, skin-tone adjustments, Dual Conversion Gain for dynamic range, and Dual-View Video enhance the overall photography experience.
Durability remains a focus, with an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, Corning Gorilla Glass protection, wet-touch operation, and a reinforced frame capable of handling up to an hour of rainfall. Users also get a programmable Action Key with over 100 shortcut options, adding convenience and customization.
Lava backs the Agni 4 with its Agni Promise, offering doorstep replacement for manufacturing defects, no bloatware, three years of Android updates, four years of security patches, and ongoing software improvements, ensuring a reliable user experience for years.
