In her message, Her Highness said, “Our Arabic language is our identity — the identity of the homeland and the foundation of our belonging and pride. Its authenticity, heritage, and ability to inspire creativity, innovation, and exploration make it a cornerstone of the human intellectual legacy and a gateway to our rich cultural heritage.”
She explained that Arabic is not just a way to communicate but a key part of who we are as Arabs. It connects us to our history, culture, and traditions. Arabic is also the language of the Holy Quran, which makes it very special and important to all Muslims.

Her Highness also talked about how Arabic is one of the oldest and most influential languages in the world. She said Arabic can grow and change with the times, especially in the modern world of science and technology. “Arabic is capable of adapting to technological advancements: as a language of science and knowledge, its profound richness and diversity fuel advancements in artificial intelligence, driving cutting-edge research to present its vast content with unparalleled efficiency and precision. This, in turn, bridges the digital divide and inspires innovation, positioning Arabic as the future language,” she added.

Sheikha Latifa praised the UAE’s efforts to make Arabic an important global language. The country is working on many projects to promote Arabic, not only in the UAE but also around the world. These projects aim to keep Arabic alive in schools, communities, and even in digital spaces. By improving the way Arabic is taught, the UAE is making sure that the language remains easy to learn and use for everyone.

The UAE is also protecting Arabic’s rich history and helping it grow as a language of knowledge. This work makes Arabic not just a language of the past but also a language of the future, ready to meet the needs of the modern world.

Arabic Language Day 2024 is a reminder of how much the UAE cares about its culture and language. Through its programs and efforts, the UAE is ensuring that Arabic will continue to inspire people, connect communities, and be a part of innovation and progress for generations to come.
