Andhra Pradesh is poised to become a technology-led seafood hub with the announcement of India’s first AI-driven aquaculture technology park. Kings Infra Ventures Ltd has signed a ₹2,500-crore agreement with the state government to develop a 500-acre facility near Srikakulam, blending innovation, sustainability, and large-scale seafood production.

The park will integrate state-of-the-art AI technology through Kings Infra’s proprietary operating system, BlueTechOS, enabling efficient monitoring and management across hatcheries, indoor farming systems, processing units, and a marine bio-actives division. The project also aims to cultivate multiple species, including shrimp, seabass, grouper, and tilapia, ensuring year-round production and export opportunities.

Kings Infra will directly invest ₹500 crore in core infrastructure, research, and processing facilities. An additional ₹2,000 crore is expected from ancillary industries, renewable energy ventures, and small businesses supporting the park. The initiative will train 5,000 aquaculture professionals over the next five years, emphasizing skills for a modern, technology-driven seafood sector.

The project aligns with Andhra Pradesh’s position as India’s largest aquaculture-producing state and represents a strategic push for sustainable, high-tech food production. With this investment, the state anticipates significant economic growth, job creation, and strengthened export potential.

Kings Infra Ventures, which has been operating since 1987 across aquaculture, seafood exports, and infrastructure development, reported a 22.36% rise in net profit to ₹4.24 crore in Q2 FY26, driven largely by strong demand from European and Asian markets.

The park is set to be a landmark initiative, showcasing how AI and modern infrastructure can elevate India’s seafood industry while maintaining environmental and operational efficiency.
