Kareena Kapoor Khan is not just a famous Bollywood actress. She is also a caring mom to her two sons, Taimur and Jehangir (lovingly called Jeh), and a loving wife to actor Saif Ali Khan. Along with her acting talent, Kareena is known for her stylish fashion sense and dedication to fitness.
In her 25-year-long journey in Bollywood, she has inspired many fans with her amazing looks and her passion for staying healthy. Whether it was her stylish “Poo” character and her beautiful lehenga in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), or her super slim figure in Tashan (2008), Kareena has always set new trends.
But even when she gained 25 kilograms after giving birth to her second son Jeh in 2021, Kareena didn’t feel bad about herself. In fact, she still looked at herself in the mirror and thought she looked great!

So how does Kareena always manage to feel good about herself, no matter what? She says she gets her confidence from her famous movie character “Geet” from Jab We Met (2007).
At a recent book launch event by her nutritionist and friend Rujuta Diwekar, Kareena said,
“I truly live by the line, ‘Main apni favourite hoon’ (I’m my own favourite). That’s how every woman should live her life. Believing in yourself is the most important thing. No matter how you look or feel, you have to keep telling yourself good things. If you remind yourself every day, it becomes easier to believe. Then, even other people start to believe in you too. But honestly, what others think doesn't matter much. I’ve always lived my life this way.”
Talking about the time after her second pregnancy, Kareena remembered how she felt. She said,
“After Jeh was born, there was a quick moment when I thought, ‘Oh no, I have to start all over again.’ But that feeling lasted just for a second. I still felt amazing, even though I had gained 25 kgs.”
We truly admire Kareena for staying so positive and confident. Her attitude teaches us that it's okay to change, and that we should always love ourselves no matter what. She proves that health and happiness come from self-love and believing in yourself!
