Intel’s shares surged nearly 10% in Frankfurt on Friday following a robust third-quarter earnings report that exceeded market expectations. The results reflect the company’s aggressive cost-cutting strategy and signal renewed investor confidence after a period of cautious growth.

The earnings announcement came on the heels of multibillion-dollar investments from tech giant Nvidia and Japan’s SoftBank, alongside a historic stake acquired by the U.S. government. Analysts had anticipated that these financial boosts could provide Intel with unprecedented liquidity, supporting both expansion and research initiatives.

In the U.S., Intel’s shares rose about 7% in after-hours trading on Thursday, reflecting the immediate investor optimism. The Frankfurt trading session on Friday amplified these gains, with shares climbing 9.7%, marking one of Intel’s strongest market performances in recent months.

Market watchers attribute the surge not just to external investments but also to the company’s internal cost management. By trimming operational expenses and optimizing resource allocation, Intel has improved profit margins significantly, helping to reassure investors concerned about global competition and semiconductor market volatility.

Industry insiders note that Intel’s current trajectory demonstrates the impact of strategic partnerships and disciplined financial planning. While challenges remain, the combination of external funding and internal efficiency appears to have positioned the company for steady growth in the upcoming quarters.
