Alongside keynote sessions, the event will feature vibrant panel discussions, cultural activations, nationwide tours, and an immersive Museum Fair that will spotlight the UAE’s cultural landscape while connecting with global trends.
A highlight of the programme will be the keynote address by Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, reflecting her role in shaping Dubai’s creative economy. Distinguished speakers will also include Her Excellency Hala Badri, Director General of Dubai Culture; Emma Nardi, President of ICOM; Kamini Sawhney, Director of the Museum of Art & Photography in Bengaluru; and Sumayya Vally, acclaimed architect and curator from South Africa.
By hosting ICOM 2025, Dubai underscores its position as a global cultural hub and a meeting point for diverse voices. The event promises to transform the dialogue around museums, highlighting their role as spaces of memory, innovation, and community connection in a rapidly evolving world.
