RIYADH, Saudi Arabia – 26 October 2025: Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today announced a major milestone, surpassing 100 hotels trading and in the pipeline across Saudi Arabia. This expansion represents a combined investment of USD $8 billion from hotel owners and investors, reinforcing Hilton’s long-term commitment to supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 by delivering world-class hospitality and expanding its footprint across the Kingdom. The announcement was made ahead of the Future Investment Initiative (FII), a premier global forum connecting world leaders, policymakers, and investors to discuss economic trends and future investment opportunities.
Hilton’s ambitious multi-brand rollout spans 14 of its award-winning brands and is set to add more than 22,000 rooms to Saudi Arabia’s rapidly growing hospitality sector. These developments are expected to generate over 15,000 jobs, with at least half of these roles designated for Saudi nationals, contributing significantly to the Kingdom’s economic diversification and talent development.
Carlos Khneisser, Chief Development Officer, Middle East & Africa, Hilton, stated:
"Saudi Arabia is witnessing tremendous momentum, with travel at the heart of this transformation. The Kingdom welcomed a record 32 million tourists this summer, and Hilton is proud to support its goal of attracting 150 million visitors annually by 2030. With over 100 hotels trading or in development, nearly two-thirds already under construction, we remain committed to introducing new brands and expanding into regional cities to serve the growing number of travellers visiting the Kingdom each year."
Expanding Luxury and Signature Brands
Hilton continues to strengthen its luxury presence in Saudi Arabia, with high-profile openings such as Conrad Riyadh Laysen Valley in 2026. Strategic signings include a Waldorf Astoria and Conrad at The Avenues – Riyadh, a Waldorf Astoria in Diriyah Gate, and Madinah’s first Waldorf Astoria. In partnership with Rua Al Madinah Holding, Hilton will introduce three properties in Madinah, including a Conrad Hotels & Resorts, while collaboration with Dan Co, a PIF subsidiary, will bring an LXR agritourism resort to Al Ahsa.
Debut of Tempo by Hilton in MEA
Marking Hilton’s regional launch of its contemporary lifestyle brand, Tempo by Hilton Riyadh Al Narjis is set to open in 2029 in partnership with Al Theeb Hospitality. The 135-room property will offer a modern lifestyle experience, featuring wellness-focused amenities, a lobby café, a restaurant, fitness facilities, and meeting spaces. Designed for ambitious travellers, Tempo emphasizes convenience, style, and balance for guests on the move.
Strengthening Presence in Regional Cities
Hilton is expanding into emerging cities including Abha, Buraidah, Dammam, Riyadh, and Jeddah, covering lifestyle, full-service, and premium economy brands:
