Finland’s HEI Schools Launch Flagship in Dubai

Dubai, UAE – 26 February 2026:

HEI UAE, an exclusive partnership between Ghobash Group and Finland’s HEI Schools, is set to introduce Finland’s globally recognised early childhood education model to Dubai. The first purpose-built flagship centre is currently under construction in Arabian Ranches 1.

Following the groundbreaking ceremony held in November 2025, construction work is progressing steadily. The project marks a major step in bringing Finland’s world-leading early years education system to families across the UAE.

The new 24,500-square-foot centre is specially designed for children aged 0 to 6 years. It will offer a balanced mix of learning, play, and wellbeing spaces. The facility will include dedicated areas for creativity, exploration, and physical development. Both indoor and outdoor spaces are being designed to encourage social interaction, active movement, and nature-based learning.

HEI UAE is part of a growing global network of HEI Schools, which currently serve more than 1,700 children across over 25 centres worldwide. The education model is based on Finland’s internationally respected system, focusing on purposeful play, child-led learning, and strong teacher involvement. The approach supports children’s academic, social, and emotional development in a natural and balanced way.

Sari Saliba, General Manager of HEI UAE, said the project’s progress brings the organisation closer to introducing a new approach to early learning in the UAE.
