His Highness told the graduates he was proud of them and wished them success in serving the UAE. He praised the college for training talented UAE nationals and future military leaders who can keep up with the fast changes happening in the world.
The event was attended by important guests, including His Excellency Mattar Salem Ali Al Dhaheri, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, and Major General Pilot Sheikh Ahmed bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces. Many senior officers, defence officials, and families of the graduates also came to the event.
The ceremony started with the UAE national anthem, followed by a reading of verses from the Holy Quran. Brigadier General Saif Abdullah Al Mesafri, the Commander of Khalifa bin Zayed Air College, gave a speech to welcome Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed and the other guests. He thanked the UAE leaders for their strong support, which has helped the college become one of the best. He also said the college’s programs meet high international standards and are recognized around the world.
The graduates marched in a military parade to show their training and discipline. After that, they took the Oath of Allegiance. They promised to serve the UAE with loyalty, protect its borders, and follow the orders of their leaders.
The college commander gave a speech to the graduates, saying that taking the oath is a very important step in their lives. He told them to always stay loyal to their country and protect it with pride. He also reminded them that being in the military is an honour and a big responsibility.
His Highness Sheikh Hazza gave awards to the top-performing graduates to celebrate their success in training and studies. He congratulated them and asked all the graduates to work hard and serve their country with honesty and dedication.
In a special part of the ceremony, the 54th batch handed over the college flag to the 55th batch. This symbolized passing responsibility to the next group of cadets. After this, the parade commander asked Sheikh Hazza for permission to march the graduates off the field. The graduates marched off in perfect order, showing pride and teamwork.
This ceremony showed how Khalifa bin Zayed Air College continues to train UAE nationals to serve the country. The college prepares strong, skilled officers who are ready to face the challenges of today’s world and keep the UAE safe.
