Sheikh Hamdan Applauds UAE Government System During Ministry Visit

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, recently visited the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs. During his visit, he commended the UAE’s government system for its remarkable progress and positive impact on various development sectors, especially those providing direct services to UAE citizens. He praised the government's ongoing efforts to align with the vision of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Sheikh Hamdan's visit follows his recent appointment as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, part of a cabinet reshuffle announced by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum with the President’s approval.

In his remarks, Sheikh Hamdan highlighted the UAE's government system as a globally unique model of efficiency, resilience, and adaptability, made possible by the leadership of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and Vice President Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He emphasized that the UAE is making significant strides toward progress and a brighter future, which demands enhanced coordination and teamwork among federal and local government agencies.

During the visit, His Excellency Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, and other officials briefed Sheikh Hamdan on the federal government framework. This framework has distinguished the UAE as a role model of resilience, demonstrating strong capabilities in policy-making and strategic growth. Sheikh Hamdan also received updates on the legislative framework of the General Secretariat of the Cabinet and the initiatives and projects managed by the Prime Minister’s Office and the UAE Government Media Office.

Sheikh Hamdan reviewed ongoing efforts to improve coordination between federal and local governments, praising advancements in uniting national efforts and progressing national priorities and strategic projects.
