Emirates has announced the introduction of a second daily Airbus A380 flight between Dubai and Bali, commencing on September 1 and running through October 26. This move is designed to address the surge in travel demand to Bali during the peak season.
Starting September 1, Emirates flight EK398/399 between Dubai (DXB) and Bali (DPS) will transition from a Boeing 777 to an upgraded Airbus A380. This enhancement follows the successful launch of Emirates' first A380 service to Indonesia on June 1, 2023. The upgraded service is expected to increase inbound traffic to Bali during one of the island's busiest periods, while providing seamless connections for travelers from Indonesia to Dubai and beyond via Emirates’ extensive global network.

The addition of the second A380 service will significantly boost capacity, offering over 2,600 extra weekly seats to and from Bali. This will help accommodate the growing demand during the peak travel season and provide passengers with Emirates' renowned travel experience. The A380 service features spacious cabins, an exclusive Onboard Lounge, and ice, Emirates’ award-winning inflight entertainment system with more than 6,500 channels of on-demand content.
Emirates' commitment to enhancing travel experiences and supporting Indonesia's burgeoning travel and tourism sector remains strong. The airline, which began its daily non-stop flights from Dubai to Bali in 2015, continues to serve Indonesia with double daily flights to both Jakarta and Bali. With a network spanning over 144 destinations across six continents, Emirates continues to cater to the evolving needs of travelers worldwide.
