Emirates Airlines is adding its newly upgraded Boeing 777 aircraft to eight more destinations. The airline is moving quickly with its massive makeover project, with one refurbished aircraft entering service every three weeks. By September 2025, Emirates aims to fly its refreshed Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 planes to 44 cities around the world.

More Comfort and Style on New Routes
Passengers flying with Emirates on the following routes will soon enjoy a better travel experience, thanks to the revamped Boeing 777 cabins:
Lisbon, Portugal: From June 1, 2025, all Emirates flights to and from Lisbon will feature the upgraded Boeing 777. This includes flights EK 191/192 and EK 193/194.
Dublin, Ireland: From June 25, Emirates will introduce its new Business Class and Premium Economy cabins on flights EK 161/162.
Hong Kong: Starting July 15, Hong Kong will become the second Chinese destination to welcome the refurbished Boeing 777. The updated aircraft will fly on routes EK 382/383.
Maldives: Passengers heading to the Maldives will experience the refreshed cabins on flights EK 658/659 starting June 1. The upgraded planes will also fly on EK 656/657 and EK 660/661 from July 15.
Kolkata, India: Emirates will introduce the new-look Boeing 777 on its Kolkata route from August 10, with four weekly flights (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) on EK 572/573.
Colombo, Sri Lanka: From August 10, Emirates will operate its upgraded Boeing 777 on the EK 650/651 daily flights. This service will complement the airline’s newly launched A350 flights to Colombo.
South Africa: Emirates is upgrading its service to Johannesburg and Cape Town.
Johannesburg will receive the new cabins on the EK 765/766 flights from September 1, and on EK 761/762 from September 25.
Cape Town will have the refreshed interiors on its daily EK 770/771 service from September 20.
London Stansted, UK: From June 1, Emirates will add a second daily flight with the refurbished Boeing 777 on EK 067/068.
Better Travel Experience with the Refurbished Boeing 777
Emirates is investing $5 billion in its fleet upgrade project—the largest of its kind in the aviation industry. The goal is to give passengers a more comfortable and enjoyable experience.
The revamped Boeing 777 offers four cabin classes, including:
Premium Economy: With 24 spacious seats, offering extra legroom and added comfort.
Business Class: Designed in a 1-2-1 layout, allowing direct aisle access from every seat. The seats are made for comfort, with space to work, relax, and sleep.
Economy Class: Featuring 260 seats with a refreshed look and feel.
How to Book Your Flight
Passengers can book tickets on the Emirates website, through the Emirates App, at Emirates Retail stores, or via travel agents (both online and offline).
With its upgraded fleet, Emirates is making sure that passengers enjoy a more luxurious and relaxing journey across its expanding network.
