Dubai is giving a sweet and special welcome to visitors this summer. As part of the #DubaiDestinations campaign, Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, has teamed up with Dubai Airports to launch a refreshing idea — ice cream trucks at Dubai International Airport (DXB).

This new initiative is designed to bring smiles to travelers the moment they land in Dubai. The ice cream trucks are stationed near the arrivals area of Terminal 3, ready to offer delicious soft-serve ice creams and cool drinks to passengers stepping off their flights.

A Cool Surprise for Summer Travelers

The ice cream trucks are operated by KUHP, a popular homegrown brand known for its quality and creativity. KUHP is part of Brand Dubai’s ‘Proudly from Dubai’ initiative, which supports local businesses. These ice cream trucks serve a variety of soft-serves and beverages that combine traditional Emirati hospitality with modern flair.

Visitors arriving in the city are welcomed with these tasty treats, making their first moments in Dubai joyful and memorable. It's a small gesture, but it makes a big impression — especially during the hot summer months.

A Unique Way to Promote Local Talent

This ice cream activation is not just about offering a snack — it’s part of a bigger plan. Brand Dubai is working to highlight Dubai’s exciting summer activities and to support creative local businesses. By bringing KUHP to the airport, the initiative also gives international visitors a taste of what Dubai’s entrepreneurial spirit is all about.

Through this project, Dubai is showing the world that the city cares about details — even how visitors are welcomed. A scoop of ice cream becomes a symbol of Dubai’s warm hospitality and innovation.

A Memorable Start to Every Journey

According to Brand Dubai, the idea is to make every visitor’s journey memorable — right from arrival. The airport is the first place travelers see when they come to Dubai. By turning this moment into something special, the city creates a lasting, positive memory.

Thousands of travelers are expected to enjoy this soft-serve experience over the summer. Whether they are coming for business, vacation, or family visits, the sweet treat adds joy to their trip.

Dubai continues to think creatively and focus on people. The ice cream truck idea shows how small actions can have a big impact. With the help of local brands like KUHP and programs like ‘Proudly from Dubai,’ the city is promoting its identity as a place of innovation, warmth, and welcoming experiences.

So, if you're landing in Dubai this summer, keep an eye out for the KUHP ice cream truck — and enjoy a cool taste of Dubai the moment you arrive.
