Dubai South, Dubai – Tim Aerospace has officially inaugurated its new maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) hangar at the Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH), marking one of the region’s largest independent facilities. The facility is designed to accommodate up to 12 narrow-body aircraft or five wide-body aircraft of any type, excluding the A380, reflecting the company’s ambition to strengthen its footprint in the Middle East.
The ceremony drew top officials from Dubai’s aviation sector, including HE Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South, alongside Tahnoon Saif, CEO of MBRAH, and Timor Shah Shahab, Founder of Tim Aerospace. Senior executives and representatives from leading airlines were also present, highlighting the industry’s endorsement of this milestone.
Strategically located within Dubai South, the new hangar promises premium, cost-efficient aircraft base maintenance for both commercial passenger and cargo aircraft. By maximizing operational efficiency and capacity, the facility positions Tim Aerospace to meet growing regional demand while maintaining international standards of safety and reliability.
The launch underscores Dubai’s vision of becoming a central hub for aerospace innovation and operational excellence. MBRAH continues to offer high-level connectivity, a free-zone environment for global aviation players, and a comprehensive ecosystem that supports engineering, maintenance, and training initiatives.
This development further cements Dubai South’s role as a magnet for global aerospace investment, strengthening its appeal to airlines, private jet operators, and MRO providers seeking strategic growth in the region.
