Dubai Opens Toronto Office to Boost Global Trade Links

The Dubai International Chamber, which is part of Dubai Chambers, has opened its first office in North America. The new office is located in Toronto, Canada. This step is part of Dubai’s global plan to build stronger business links with countries around the world, under the Dubai Global project.

Opening Ceremony
The office was officially opened by Maninder Sidhu, Canada’s Minister of International Trade. He was joined by Eng. Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Chairman of Dubai Chambers, and UAE Ambassador Abdulrahman Al Neyadi. Many local business leaders were also present.

Why This Office Matters
This is Dubai’s first office in North America, and the Chamber plans to open 50 offices worldwide by 2030. The goal is to help Dubai businesses grow in new markets and to support companies from other countries that want to work in Dubai.

Dubai–Canada Trade Growth
In 2024, the value of non-oil trade between Dubai and Canada reached AED 10.2 billion.
Over 4,100 Canadian companies have joined Dubai Chamber — a 29% increase from the year before.
In just the first three months of 2025, 289 new Canadian companies joined.

What the Toronto Office Will Do
The new office will:
Talk with Canadian businesses and government bodies
Help Dubai companies understand the Canadian market

Support Canadian firms that want to expand in Dubai or nearby regions
Find new business and investment chances
Build useful links between companies in both countries

Statement from the Chairman
Eng. Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori said the Toronto office will help grow business between Canada and Dubai. He said it will work as a center to support trade, investment, and partnerships.
