Dubai Mall has announced a significant update to its parking system, marking a collaboration with Salik Company, Dubai’s exclusive toll gate operator. Starting from July 1st, the mall will introduce a paid parking system aimed at improving overall guest experience and optimizing parking availability.
Under the new system, guests will encounter charges only after parking for more than four hours on weekdays, with fees starting at AED 20. However, weekends will offer a grace period of up to six hours of free parking, after which charges will begin from AED 80. This adjustment is part of Dubai Mall’s initiative to streamline parking procedures, ensuring a more convenient and efficient visit for all patrons.
Emaar Properties, the developer behind Dubai Mall, expressed enthusiasm about this enhancement, emphasizing its commitment to enhancing guest experiences through innovative technology and strategic partnerships. The collaboration with Salik Company underscores their dedication to setting new standards in retail and leisure facilities.

The introduction of paid parking aims to alleviate congestion by encouraging turnover and freeing up spaces more efficiently. Notably, the new system will apply to several parking areas within the mall, including Grand Parking, Cinema Parking, and Fashion Parking, while Zabeel and Fountain Views parking will remain complimentary.
Ibrahim Sultan Al Haddad, CEO and Board Member of Salik Company PJSC, highlighted the move as a pivotal step in their strategic evolution towards becoming a global leader in sustainable and smart mobility solutions. Al Haddad emphasized that this initiative aligns with their ambition to deliver innovative and convenient solutions that eliminate traditional gates or barriers, thereby enhancing the overall visitor experience at Dubai Mall.
Dubai Mall, recognized as one of the world’s largest and most visited destinations, attracts over 100 million visitors annually. Recently, it announced a major AED 1.5 billion expansion plan, set to introduce over 240 new luxury shops and additional food and beverage outlets. This expansion underscores Dubai Mall’s ongoing commitment to offering world-class amenities and services, catering to the diverse needs of its global clientele.
