US President Donald Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr, is expected to make a high-profile visit to India this weekend to attend the lavish destination wedding of an Indian American couple in Rajasthan’s royal city of Udaipur. The announcement has sparked heightened anticipation and extensive security preparations in the city.

According to sources within the Rajasthan police, Trump Jr will attend wedding festivities scheduled for November 21 and 22. The main ceremony will be held at the historic Jag Mandir Palace, located on the serene waters of Lake Pichola, while other pre-wedding and post-wedding events will take place at Manek Chowk within the iconic City Palace. For his stay, Trump Jr is expected to lodge at the luxurious Leela Palace Udaipur, one of the city’s premier heritage hotels.

A security team from a US agency has already arrived in Udaipur to coordinate arrangements and ensure the safety of the high-profile guests. The Rajasthan administration is on high alert, with special security protocols implemented along key routes, including the airport-to-palace corridor, ahead of the star-studded celebrations. Superintendent of Police Yogesh Goyal confirmed that Udaipur will see significant security deployments during the two-day festivities.

Apart from Trump Jr, several prominent Indian politicians and celebrities are anticipated to attend the wedding. Udaipur has become a magnet for high-profile events due to its majestic heritage palaces and scenic lakefront settings. The city has previously hosted pre-wedding and wedding events for stars like Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, Raveena Tandon, Neil Nitin Mukesh, and cricketer Hardik Pandya, along with billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s daughter Isha Ambani.

Known as the “City of Lakes”, Udaipur offers a mix of royal charm, luxurious heritage hotels, and picturesque landscapes, making it one of India’s most sought-after destinations for extravagant weddings. This wedding is expected to not only draw international attention but also spotlight Udaipur’s prominence as a global luxury wedding destination.

With the presence of international dignitaries, celebrities, and politicians, Udaipur is preparing for an unprecedented weekend of grandeur, blending Indian cultural richness with global celebrity allure. Authorities have emphasized that the combination of elaborate planning and tight security measures aims to ensure a seamless and safe celebration for all attendees.

As the city gears up for the festivities, anticipation and excitement continue to build, highlighting Udaipur’s reputation as the preferred choice for elite weddings while placing India on the global map for luxury destination events.
