dnata, a well-known global air and travel services company, has signed three multi-year contracts to provide inflight catering services for Hainan Airlines, Tianjin Air, and Beijing Capital Airlines. These airlines, which were previously part of HNA Group, will now receive dnata’s catering services at two major Australian airports—Melbourne International Airport (MEL) and Sydney International Airport (SYD).
Under the new contracts, dnata’s skilled catering teams at these airports will prepare and load around 380,000 meals onto the three airlines' flights every year. These meals will be served on flights connecting Melbourne and Sydney with China, ensuring passengers enjoy a high-quality dining experience onboard. The three airlines will operate a total of 19 weekly flights between Melbourne and China, carrying nearly 200,000 passengers annually.
This agreement marks a key achievement for dnata in Australia. Following its recent deals with Hainan Airlines and Tianjin Airlines, Beijing Capital Airlines has now become the third carrier from the HNA Group to choose dnata’s catering services in the country.
