DMCC, a top international business district in Dubai, and Signature Developers have officially started building W Residences Dubai – Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT). This new luxury project is being developed in partnership with Marriott International and is seen as a major step in making JLT one of Dubai’s most attractive places to live.
The new building will be 38 floors tall. It will include 33 floors of apartments, three basement levels, two podium levels, one ground floor, and one level with shared amenities. The tower will have around 185 high-end homes, including 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom apartments and 4-bedroom penthouses. Because of the tower’s height and location, it will offer beautiful views of Emirates Hills, The Meadows, Jumeirah Islands, and nearby golf courses like the Emirates Golf Course and Montgomerie Golf Club.
The groundbreaking event was attended by Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman and CEO of DMCC; Sandeep Walia, Chief Operating Officer, Middle East and Luxury at Marriott International; and senior members from DMCC and Signature Developers.

Ahmed Bin Sulayem said, “This project is another big step in changing JLT into one of Dubai’s most exciting and desirable areas. In the last two years, we’ve started or built 19 major projects in JLT and Uptown Dubai. This 38-storey tower will include 185 branded residences and top features like gyms, yoga and Pilates studios, co-working spaces, and a coffee bar. Partnering with Signature Developers and Marriott shows our aim to keep raising the standard of luxury city living.”
The W Residences are designed to offer hotel-style living in a private home. The homes will reflect the unique look and feel of the W Hotels brand. The project will include Marriott’s well-known Whatever/Whenever® service and many premium features such as a WET® deck, high-end gyms, yoga and Pilates studios, spa rooms, a swimming pool and jacuzzi, BBQ spots, co-working areas, a coffee lounge, a games room, meeting rooms, and more. All of these are aimed at giving residents a complete and luxury lifestyle.
Sandeep Walia from Marriott International said, “We congratulate DMCC and Signature Developers on starting this project. The W Residences at JLT will combine our luxury brand with Signature’s focus on high-quality real estate. Together, we are bringing something special to this lively neighbourhood.”
This project is not the first time DMCC and Signature Developers have worked together. In 2019, they completed The Residences JLT. The launch of W Residences Dubai – JLT shows that demand for luxury homes in JLT is still strong. Phases I and II of the project are already sold out, and Phase III is expected to attract more interest soon.
JLT has become one of the top mixed-use areas in the region, offering a mix of places to live, stay, and enjoy leisure time. Its variety of services and features make it appealing to many types of people. DMCC continues to team up with leading developers to build new and modern residential and business spaces in JLT and Uptown Dubai. These projects are a key part of DMCC’s plan to support strong business growth with great infrastructure and communities ready for the future.
