Bollywood actor Dharmendra has been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, sources confirm. This news comes just a week after the actor had visited the hospital for a medical check-up, sparking concerns among fans regarding his health.
The family has not issued any official statement yet regarding the current admission. Details about the actor’s health remain undisclosed, and further updates are awaited.
Hema Malini Assures Fans Earlier
Earlier this month, after Dharmendra’s hospital visit, his wife and actor-politician Hema Malini reassured fans about his well-being. When asked by photographers at the airport about Dharmendra’s condition, she simply gestured “okay” and folded her hands in gratitude, calming fan concerns.
Clarification: Routine Check-Up
Sources close to the actor clarified that Dharmendra’s current hospital stay is for routine medical tests. “There is absolutely no cause for concern. The actor is in good health and visits the hospital often for regular check-ups,” a family source explained. The actor’s frequent visits to the hospital had reportedly led to the recent frenzy among fans.
Dharmendra was last seen in the 2024 film Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya alongside Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. He is also set to star in Sriram Raghavan’s upcoming war drama Ikkis, which is based on the life of Arun Khetarpal, the youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra.
