Chris Eubank Jr was taken to the hospital after beating Conor Benn in a very exciting fight. The match took place on Saturday in front of 65,000 people at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. Both fighters gave their all, with a fast and intense pace throughout the 12 rounds.
All three judges scored the fight 116-112 in favor of Eubank Jr, meaning he won by unanimous decision. Before midnight, Eubank was taken to the hospital for checks, as recommended by the doctor at the arena.

The fight was filled with tension because it was a big rivalry between the sons of two famous fighters from the 1990s, Chris Eubank Sr and Nigel Benn. Even though the two fighters had bad feelings before the match, it ended with respect between them. After the fight, they embraced, showing respect for each other.
"I knew I could do this. I just needed someone to push me," Eubank Jr said after his win. He explained that the rivalry between their fathers brought out a different side of both fighters. "Our fathers did what they did many years ago, and it made us fight with spirit and passion tonight," he said.
Eubank Jr had been in a bad relationship with his father before, but after this fight, he showed how happy he was to have his father with him again. "I'm happy to have him back with me. We did what we promised to do. We kept the family name strong," Eubank Jr said.
Although the fight was close, Eubank Jr won, and many people thought the fight could have ended in a draw. Benn, 28, felt that his time out of the ring may have hurt him in this match. "Maybe I stayed on the ropes too long," Benn said. "Chris is a good fighter, and I want to fight him again."
During the fight, Eubank got a cut above his right eye in the ninth round. The referee said it was caused by a clash of heads when the two fighters were locked together. Both Eubank and Benn had fallen to the canvas in round three after a wrestling move.
This fight was scheduled a long time ago but was postponed when Benn tested positive for a fertility drug called clomifene in 2022. Benn was cleared of intentional doping by the World Boxing Council in 2023 after they said the drug could have come from eating too many eggs.
Eubank Jr had a fine of $500,000 for being slightly over the weight limit at the weigh-in, and he was fined earlier in the year for throwing an egg at Benn during a press conference.
Now, Eubank has won 35 of his 38 fights, and Benn has won 24 of his 25 fights. The fight was thrilling and made fans excited, and now people are talking about a possible rematch between the two fighters.
