The race to the Bigg Boss 19 finale is heating up, and the competition took a shocking turn. In a surprise mid-week eviction, Mridul Tiwari was shown the exit after receiving the least number of live audience votes. The unexpected move left fans stunned, with many feeling he did not belong in the high-voltage, drama-filled house.
On Wednesday, Mridul was eliminated from the Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 19 through live audience voting. As part of the captaincy task, a group of people entered the house to participate in the process. After contestants campaigned for themselves, a secret ballot was held. Gaurav Khanna and Shehbaz Badesha received the highest votes, emerging as captaincy contenders, while Mridul received the least votes, leading to his eviction.
The remaining housemates, including Gaurav and Shehbaz, grew emotional as they bid farewell to Mridul, hugging him tightly and wishing him well.
Mridul had entered the show via Fans Ka Faisla, defeating Shehbaz Badesha through a fan vote before the premiere. Shehbaz later joined the show as a wildcard contestant.
Social media erupted after Mridul’s eviction, with fans expressing disappointment and calling him one of the most genuine contestants of the season. Comments included:
“Mridul Tiwari’s eviction was truly emotional… Pure soul, no unnecessary fights, and stayed by his morals till the end.”
“Mridul is too good for this house. Have a great life ahead!”
“From Day 1, he showed that kindness is strength. NO MRIDUL NO BIGG BOSS.”
Fans criticized the eviction as unfair and expressed concern that favoritism influenced the results. Many believe the show lost a true gem with Mridul’s exit.
With his departure, the Bigg Boss 19 house now hosts Gaurav Khanna, Malti Chahar, Shehbaz Badesha, Amaal Mallik, Tanya Mittal, Ashnoor Kaur, Kunickaa Sadanand, Farrhana Bhatt, and Pranit More. The season’s grand finale is expected on December 7. The show airs on JioCinema at 9 pm and on TV at 10:30 pm.
