Rajasthan Tragedy: Four Friends Burned Alive in Road Crash

In a heart-wrenching accident late Thursday night, four young men from Barmer district, Rajasthan, were tragically burned alive when their vehicle caught fire after a severe collision with a truck. The incident has left the local community in shock and mourning.

The mishap occurred around 1:30 am on the highway near Sada village under Sindhari police jurisdiction. Police reports reveal that five friends from Dabar village in Gudamalani tehsil were returning home after work when their Scorpio collided head-on with a trailer roughly 30 km from their destination. The victims—Mohan Singh (35), Shambhu Singh (20), Pancharam (22), and Prakash (28)—all succumbed to severe burn injuries at the scene. The driver, Dilip Singh, survived but remains in critical condition at a nearby hospital.

Emergency teams rushed to the site, managing to clear the wreckage and restore traffic after an hour-long disruption. Authorities have described the incident as one of the deadliest on the Barmer highways in recent months.
