Abu Dhabi – A deep depression over the northeast Arabian Sea is showing signs of intensifying, with meteorologists predicting it could develop into a tropical storm within the next three days. Despite its growth, experts confirm that the UAE is not at risk from the system.

Currently positioned at 21.3°N and 67.1°E, the depression carries wind speeds between 65 and 85 km/h. Forecast models indicate that as it drifts west-southwest towards the central Arabian Sea, it could strengthen further, potentially reaching tropical storm intensity with winds of 100–120 km/h.
