Dubai Govt Appoints Amna Al Suwaidi as Future Resources CEO

Dubai, UAE – In a move signaling strategic growth in government talent management, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence of the UAE, has appointed Amna Hamood Obaid Al Suwaidi as Chief Executive Officer of the Future Resources Sector at the Dubai Government Human Resources Department.

The appointment comes through Executive Council Resolution No. (91) of 2025 and is effective immediately. The resolution will also be published in the Official Gazette, formalizing her new leadership role.

Amna Al Suwaidi’s role will focus on shaping the Future Resources Sector, driving initiatives related to talent development, workforce planning, and innovative human resource strategies across Dubai government entities. This strategic position underscores the city’s focus on building a forward-looking workforce aligned with Dubai’s long-term vision for smart governance and innovation-driven growth.
