The FertiClinic Fertility & IVF Conference, one of the most important events in the world of reproductive medicine, kicked off on Saturday at the Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers. The event brings together top medical professionals, researchers, and experts to discuss the latest advancements in assisted reproductive technologies, while also addressing some of the biggest challenges in fertility and fetal medicine.
Focus on IVF Innovation and Fertility Preservation
This year’s conference, held under the theme “Optimizing IVF Success & Fertility Preservation Awareness,” is a two-day event organized by FertiClinic Fertilisation Group in collaboration with ARGC UK. The event is supervised by the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi and centers around the newest developments in IVF (In Vitro Fertilization), fertility preservation, and women’s health.
Supporting Abu Dhabi’s Vision for Healthcare
On the first day of the conference, Fayeza Saif Al Yafei, the Executive Director of the Quality and Safety Sector, delivered the keynote speech. She emphasized that the conference aligns with Abu Dhabi’s Vision 2025, which seeks to improve healthcare, with a strong focus on reproductive health. FertiClinic Group’s work plays a key role in providing high-quality fertility solutions and helping people on their journey to becoming parents.
AI-Powered Innovations in Fertility Treatments
One of the most exciting developments at the conference was the introduction of an advanced AI system called "Algorithm," developed by ARGC UK, one of the world’s leading IVF clinics. This new technology helps doctors determine the most accurate doses of hormonal medication for successful fertilization. The AI also includes an embryo selection system that helps choose the best embryo from a group of 15 stored in a smart incubator. This technology is expected to increase success rates and reduce the chances of unsuccessful IVF treatments.
UAE’s Top Fertility Event Brings Experts Together
As the largest fertility-focused event in the UAE, the conference attracted over 35 leading companies specializing in fertility equipment and medications, along with representatives from more than 50 well-known healthcare institutions. The conference featured over 25 expert speakers, including specialists in fields like embryology, obstetrics and gynecology, endocrinology, urology, andrology, nursing, psychological support, and quality assurance.
Global Collaboration in Fertility Research
Dr. Amin Hamza Gafar, a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Specialist in Reproductive Medicine, shared his thoughts on the importance of international cooperation in fertility research. With over 30 years of experience in the UK fertility industry, Dr. Gafar highlighted the critical role that AI plays in improving fertility treatments and moving research forward.
Personalized IVF Treatments
Dr. Mohamed Taranissi, the founder and Medical Director of ARGC London, spoke about the groundbreaking fertility treatments that are now standard in clinics around the world. He focused on personalized IVF treatments, emphasizing the importance of tailoring care to meet the specific needs of each patient.
Driving the Future of Reproductive Medicine
Dr. Elsamawal El Hakim, a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine, also spoke about the significance of the conference. He described it as an inspiring gathering of leading experts in fertility, reproductive medicine, and women’s health. He mentioned that discussions on genetic diseases, repeated fertilization failures, and strategies for handling difficult fertility cases are crucial to improving reproductive health.
Dr. El Hakim also pointed out that the conference is an excellent platform for building partnerships, noting that FertiClinic Group is working hard to form agreements with top companies to help improve fertility services in Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
With its combination of groundbreaking research, AI innovations, and strategic partnerships, the FertiClinic Fertility & IVF Conference continues to position Abu Dhabi as a global leader in reproductive medicine and IVF.
