600 Free Nol Cards Aid Needy Families in Dubai

In honor of Sheikh Zayed Humanitarian Day, Dubai's RTA distributed 630 pre-loaded Nol cards to underprivileged families. These cards not only enable access to public transport but also facilitate essential purchases at select retail outlets across the emirate.

RTA's initiative aims to spread joy and happiness during Ramadan, reaching out to various communities including RTA employees, people of determination, families with limited incomes, drivers, and workers.

Additionally, RTA launched the 'Modes of Good' initiative, expanding the annual 'Meals on Wheels' program to distribute 8,000 Iftar meals to public bus drivers, delivery bike riders, truck drivers, and Abra captains. Collaborating with Beit Al Khair Society, RTA also supports the Ramadan Tent Project, providing 2000 Iftar meals to fasting individuals.

As part of efforts to bring families closer during Ramadan, telephone booths offering free international calls have been set up at select Metro stations. Commuters can connect with their loved ones abroad from Al Ghubaiba, Union, and Jebel Ali Metro stations.
