Good health becomes more important as a person grows older. Many fathers work hard throughout their lives, but sometimes they forget to take care of their own health. To support them, nutritionist Shalini Sudhakar has shared three simple foods that can help improve men’s heart health, control sugar levels, and strengthen the body.
In her recent post, she explained that these foods are easy to include in daily life. They do not require expensive supplements or complicated recipes. Instead, they are common household ingredients that are already familiar in most kitchens.
The first food she recommended is roasted garlic. She says that eating 6 to 8 roasted garlic cloves early in the morning on an empty stomach can help reduce cholesterol and support the heart. Garlic contains a natural compound called allicin, which helps protect the heart. Shalini suggests roasting garlic in a few drops of ghee, as this makes the allicin more active and useful.
The second food she advised is soaked fenugreek, also known as methi seeds. According to her, these seeds can help control blood sugar levels and protect important organs such as the pancreas, kidneys, and liver. She recommends soaking three teaspoons of methi seeds overnight. Then, one teaspoon should be eaten before breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This helps the body manage sugar better and reduces strain on the organs.
The third food she highlighted is roasted pumpkin seeds. She explained that eating one tablespoon of these seeds an hour before bedtime can strengthen joints, improve sleep quality, and even help protect the body from certain diseases. Pumpkin seeds contain omega-3, selenium, and lignans, which support the brain, bones, and overall cell health.
Shalini also reminded that timing is very important. She encouraged families to help their fathers include these foods daily, even though it may be challenging to change habits.
Her message is loving and thoughtful. She said that fathers often carry many responsibilities and memories in their hearts. Taking care of them is a way to show appreciation for everything they have done.
This advice is simple, practical, and easy to follow. It encourages a natural way to improve health through daily habits rather than quick fixes. However, people with medical conditions should still consult their doctor before making changes to their diet.
Taking small steps every day can make a big difference. A little support can help fathers stay strong, healthy, and active for many more years.
