Rashed Al Qubaisi, Group Chief Corporate Officer at PureHealth, emphasized the significance of investing in human capital, affirming that nurturing future Emirati leaders is paramount to sustaining Abu Dhabi's renowned healthcare system. The collaboration with RCSI, a globally esteemed institution, provides participants with invaluable exposure to diverse leadership techniques, perspectives, and global best practices, thereby equipping them to navigate the evolving healthcare landscape effectively.
The program comprised three modules, focusing on self-awareness and personal development, effective leadership and team management, and strategic foresight. Participants delved into topics such as resilient leadership, conflict resolution, and evidence-based decision-making, culminating in a comprehensive understanding of effective leadership principles.
Professor Laura Viani, President of RCSI, expressed pride in the program's development and its impact on enhancing the leadership capabilities of UAE's healthcare leaders. She highlighted the cohort's readiness to lead and manage teams, navigate change, and ultimately elevate patient care standards within their respective spheres.
Upon program completion, participants will continue their professional development through a tailored Individual Development Plan (IDP), facilitating ongoing learning and succession planning. Furthermore, these emerging leaders will serve as mentors to younger talent within PureHealth, fostering a culture of mentorship and continuous growth within the organization.
This initiative underscores PureHealth's unwavering commitment to realizing Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030, particularly in cultivating a skilled workforce inclusive of UAE nationals.
