DUBAI GAMES is supported by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and is organized with help from the Dubai Sports Council. The qualifiers saw a lot of competition from 290 athletes who formed 58 teams. This shows how much people in Dubai care about sports and the strong sense of community.
Marwan bin Essa, Director of DUBAI GAMES, said, “With its new brand, DUBAI GAMES has become an event that everyone looks forward to. It is a place where teams can show their talent and push for greatness. This tournament also shows Dubai’s plan to be a world leader in sports.”

DUBAI GAMES is now a global stage for all people to join in and play. It is also a great way to encourage everyone to live healthy and active lives. We can’t wait to see the teams that have qualified in the finals, showing teamwork and the true spirit of DUBAI GAMES,” he added.
