At least 21 people lost their lives after Israeli fighter jets bombed several parts of Gaza, according to reports from local medical staff.
The airstrikes happened during the night and continued into the early morning. The attacks hit many areas, including Gaza City and central Gaza towns like Deir al-Balah.Health workers in Gaza said that many of those killed were everyday people — women and children among them. Some families were inside their homes when the bombs hit and were unable to escape.

In one case, a house in the Al-Daraj area of Gaza City was destroyed. Locals said it was full of relatives. Rescue teams worked for hours to pull people from the rubble, finding both dead and injured.Another strike in Deir al-Balah hit a crowded neighborhood, leading to more deaths and damage. Emergency teams rushed to the area to treat the wounded and move them to hospitals.
Gaza’s hospitals are under great pressure. Doctors say there are not enough supplies or fuel. Clinics are full, and more injured people are arriving daily. These attacks are part of the war between Israel and Hamas, which began in October last year. Thousands of people have died since then — most of them in Gaza.
Israel says it is aiming to stop Hamas, but many people in Gaza believe regular citizens are the ones suffering the most. Homes, schools, and hospitals have all been badly hit.People in Gaza are living in very hard conditions. Food, clean water, and shelter are in short supply. Many families have left their homes and are staying in overcrowded shelters.Groups around the world have asked both sides to stop fighting and protect innocent lives. But the violence continues, and people in Gaza remain at risk every day.
