At the Pan Arab Anesthesia Conference in Dubai, Khaled Yassen from National Liver Institute, Menoufia University, Egypt, presented two vital topics:

Hypercoagulation during liver transplantation – using thromboelastogram for real-time monitoring and safer blood transfusion.
Oxygen safety in anesthesia – highlighting the risks of over-oxygenation (hyperoxia) and the need for proper oxygen control.
