Art Sets Sail to Save the Sea: Art4you Gallery’s “Brushes for the Blue” live art event, curated by Jesno Jackson at Mehromah Art House, Dubai, spotlighted ocean conservation through powerful visual storytelling. Artists painted on wooden boat panels, symbolizing traditional vessels, to depict marine beauty and environmental threats. The event fused creativity and advocacy, raising awareness about plastic pollution and life below water.
“My artwork is titled ‘In Life, But Not Living...Free Plastic’. Life Below Water, portrayed a haunting image, a fish suspended in the ocean, confined within a knotted plastic bag. Though it breathes, it doesn’t live, trapped in a silent struggle caused by human neglect. This piece is a stark reminder of the unseen suffering beneath the waves. Every discarded plastic item has consequences. Through this painting, I call for awareness, responsibility, and urgent action. Let’s choose sustainability, let’s give the ocean its freedom back,” says Jeevan Oroolu Veettil from India
