Dubai, UAE | 10 May 2025:
In a historic step for the global art community, the Dubai International Art Centre (DIAC) has officially become the first institution in the world to join Artdomain, a visionary platform powered by DXB News Network.
This development marks a significant milestone, placing DIAC at the forefront of a new international movement that seeks to redefine how art and artists receive recognition, support, and legacy.
Founded in 1976, DIAC has long been a pillar of artistic education and cultural exchange in the UAE and beyond. By joining Artdomain, DIAC reaffirms its global relevance and commitment to empowering artists through structured visibility and meaningful engagement.
Artdomain operates under two unique wings:
A50 – The Art Order, designed for individual artists
The Art Guild, created for institutions, curators, galleries, and art schools
DIAC is now officially registered under The Art Guild, aligning with a global circle of influence that connects institutions to audiences through editorial storytelling, curated exposure, and digital legacy building.
The announcement was welcomed by Grand Chancellor Anastasie Akibode, a long-time DIAC member and now the guiding force of Artdomain. She emphasized that this initiative is non-commercial and created to restore the rightful place of artists and institutions through journalistic credibility rather than fleeting trends.
On the occasion, DIAC Chairperson Diyali Sen Bhalla expressed her pride, stating:
“This is a meaningful partnership. It is not about reach—it is about depth. We are proud to take this step with a platform that honours the soul of art.”
Senior DIAC member Atul Panase and educator Amanda Ovington also voiced their appreciation for the collaboration, highlighting the long-term value this partnership will bring to both emerging and established artists within DIAC’s community.
With applications open globally, but selection strictly limited, DIAC’s early inclusion signals a legacy of trust and cultural leadership. The onboarding process for artists and institutions into Artdomain has now begun — carefully, step by step.
This is not just a membership. It is a new chapter in the world of art.
