Drone & Rocket Attack on U.S. Embassy in Baghdad | Explosions, Fire Inside Compound

Post by : Bianca Qureshi

BREAKING: Baghdad’s U.S. Embassy came under a heavy assault as drones and rockets struck the compound, marking one of the most intense attacks in recent weeks amid the escalating Middle East conflict.

Security sources report that multiple drones and rockets were launched toward the embassy, with U.S. air defense systems successfully intercepting several mid-air. Despite these efforts, at least one drone reportedly hit the embassy grounds, igniting fires and sending smoke into the sky, while explosions were heard across the Iraqi capital.

The attack occurs amid rising tensions between Iran, the United States, and Israel, with Iraq increasingly serving as a critical frontline in the broader regional conflict. In response, authorities have heightened security throughout Baghdad’s Green Zone following the incident.
