UAE Sprinter Maryam Karim Wins Gold at Arab Junior Athletics Championship

UAE National Team sprinter Maryam Karim has secured the gold medal in the 400-meter final at the Arab Junior Athletics Championship, held in Saudi Arabia. Competing in the under-18 category, Karim showcased exceptional speed and skill, finishing with a time of 55.09 seconds. Her performance in the final was a culmination of a dominant showing throughout the championship, including a standout qualification round where she clocked the fastest time of 57.71 seconds.

Karim’s gold medal is a significant achievement for the UAE, marking the country’s second podium finish at the championship. Earlier in the event, Salem Al-Maqbali earned a silver medal in shot put, contributing to the UAE's impressive overall performance.
