The training flight carried two individuals: an instructor pilot and an international trainee pilot. Following extensive search efforts along the Fujairah coastline, rescue teams recovered the instructor’s body near the shore, suggesting that the aircraft may have gone down over water. Authorities are intensifying efforts to locate the missing trainee pilot and any wreckage that could provide insight into the incident.
The GCAA expressed heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased instructor pilot and pledged continued support in the ongoing search for the missing trainee and wreckage. Multiple agencies, including coastal patrols and aerial support, have been mobilized to assist in locating the missing pilot and examining the accident scene.
The GCAA reassured the public that it is closely collaborating with local and national authorities to uncover any factors that may have contributed to this incident. An in-depth investigation is already underway, with officials emphasizing their commitment to aviation safety standards.
Further information will be provided as more details emerge from the investigation. Meanwhile, the GCAA urges patience as efforts continue to bring clarity to this unfortunate accident, which has deeply affected the aviation community and the families involved.
