The UAE National Olympic Committee has opened the United Arab Emirates Olympic House to a global audience in Paris, coinciding with the country's participation in the 2024 Olympic Games. This initiative aims to promote global awareness of the UAE's rich historical and cultural heritage, as well as its national identity.
Located in the heart of Paris, the UAE Olympic House offers visitors an interactive and immersive experience of Emirati culture and hospitality during the Olympic fortnight. Designed to resemble a traditional Emirati home, the House invites guests to explore the UAE's cultural tapestry, innovative spirit, passion for sports, and renowned hospitality.
The UAE Olympic House features eight themed rooms, each offering a unique glimpse into Emirati culture. Visitors can experience Al Sikka (the place of beginning), Al Majlis (the place of welcoming), Al Liwan (the place of connection), Al Meydan (the place of action), and Al Hiwy (the place of play), which includes three interactive augmented reality games inspired by traditional Emirati games. These rooms offer digital interactions, enabling visitors to actively shape their experience. Guests can also admire a hand-painted 18-frame mural inspired by the Sh'abi house, a significant part of the UAE’s urban heritage. Erth (the place of socializing) invites visitors to sample UAE flavors, while Al Dukkan (the place of memory) allows visitors to take home a souvenir.
