UAE Government Annual Meeting 2025 Begins in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi: The seventh edition of the UAE Government Annual Meetings commenced on Tuesday in Abu Dhabi, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Held from November 4 to 6, the high-level gathering brings together over 500 senior officials from federal and local entities to align strategies, discuss progress, and accelerate national priorities.

This year’s agenda focuses on advancing emerging sectors such as artificial intelligence, healthcare, investment, and family welfare—key pillars of the UAE’s sustainable development and global competitiveness.

Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, emphasized that the meetings highlight the government’s commitment to proactive governance and improving citizens’ quality of life. He noted that the sessions are designed to strengthen innovation, institutional integration, and national unity.

Key highlights include strategic briefings, leadership discussions, and a special session on the UAE’s global narrative. Several new initiatives are also expected to be launched during the event, reinforcing the nation’s vision for a forward-thinking, knowledge-driven economy.

The meetings will conclude with awards recognizing excellence in culture, creativity, and artificial intelligence, celebrating teams that have made remarkable contributions to national progress.

Launched in 2017, the UAE Government Annual Meetings serve as a national platform to unify government action and accelerate the objectives of the ‘We the UAE 2031’ strategy and the UAE Centennial 2071 vision.
