In his opening remarks, His Excellency Ahmed Darwish Al-Muhairi emphasized that the "Winter Ghiras" program reflects IACAD's dedication to the goals of "Dubai’s Social Agenda 33," which aims to strengthen family and community bonds while promoting national identity. He noted that the presence of Emirati astronauts symbolizes the values of ambition and creativity that IACAD seeks to instill in the next generation, delivering a powerful message that no dream is too big to achieve.

He further explained that the program serves as a unique platform for education and development, blending Islamic values with Emirati heritage, traditions, and ethics. It also aims to nurture creative skills, preparing a generation that is both culturally rooted and future-ready to achieve its aspirations.

Targeted at girls aged 7 to 15, the "Winter Ghiras" program aims to instill Islamic and human values, enhance ethical behavior, and strengthen national identity. Organized during the winter break, it features a variety of activities held at multiple community and cultural centers, including the Al-Mizhar Cultural Islamic Center, Umm Al Sheif Cultural Islamic Center, Nad Al Sheba Women's Center, Maktoum Quran Centers in Nad Al Sheba 4 and Al Wuraqa 1, Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Islamic Culture, Hatta Community Center, and Al Nahda Ladies Association in Al Lisili.

The program offers interactive workshops that combine fun with education, focusing on innovation, sustainability, and leadership. These activities aim to enrich the participants’ experience and ignite a passion for learning and growth.

The "Winter Ghiras" program marks a significant step in empowering young girls by raising their awareness of core values and equipping them with practical and scientific skills. Inspired by real-life success stories, the program fosters a sense of ambition and prepares participants to contribute meaningfully to their future while staying connected to their cultural heritage.
